Since we opened our doors in 2018, starting in Killeen, Texas,  Central Texas Movers has provided quality services to clients throughout Bell County and the great state of Texas through hard work and the professional care they deserve. In addition, we have enjoyed working with and for our dedicated and decorated service members in Fort Cavazos, Fort Bliss, and many other military members on and off base and their families.   • What if “Central Texas Movers” is done but I am not happy?
    As our CTM workers are not officially finished with their jobs until the remaining items are fully unloaded and/or the back of the company truck is closed; it is essential to resolve any issues you may have while the workers are present so that they can ensure a positive review. If the issue is related to damages, then discuss such concerns with the Supervisor on duty. S/he may need to file an incident report and walk you through our company’s customer service policy and file a “Central Texas Movers Damages and Loss Claim”; Discuss the reimbursement amount with the Supervisor for said damages. Be sure to obtain copies of all paperwork used during this discussion either via email or text message; this will ensure that when a Claims Representative contacts you there are no miscommunications between both parties. If the service wasn’t to your liking, please notify the CTM workers. Be sure to bring to their attention any concerns or questions you may have and what they need to do to make the situation right. Be flexible and realistic with a resolution. Look over the contract and/or Liability Waiver you have signed during the booking process, this may help in reaching a mutual decision between you (the customer) and Central Texas Movers.
  • Do you transport special or bulky items?
    Yes! We offer moving of single and bulky items such as safes and pianos.
  • What should I expect from Central Texas Movers pertaining to my move?
    The day before your moving date, a representative of Central Texas Movers will contact you via phone to confirm your move and the time frame in which the moving crew will arrive as well as the number of movers that will make up the crew. On the date of the move, the Crew's Supervisor will contact you via phone to again confirm your move, introduce themselves and provide an ETA. When the movers arrive at your location, they should introduce themselves and their crew. They should also ask if there is anything they should know before beginning. This is the time for you to inform them of any specialty items, fragile items, and any additional items that you may have forgotten to mention during the estimated walkthrough. Please keep in mind that additional items may or may not increase your total remaining balance as well as any obstacles that otherwise were not mentioned prior to the moving crew arriving. Once the moving workers have arrived at the final location, your remaining balance is due. The CTM workers’ job is not officially done until you are satisfied and payment is made. If for whatever reason you are unhappy please follow the steps given under "What if Central Texas Movers are done but I am not happy?"
  • Do you offer International or Interstate moves?
    No, we are an Intrastate Moving Company. Which means that we only offer services in the state of Texas. However, We do offer labor only services for our customers who are moving out of state or moving to Texas via moving truck or PODS. We will gladly load or unload your moving trucks (Uhaul, Penske, and/or ABF trucks) or PODS (portable on demand storage).
  • Why is the “Commitment Fee” non-refundable?
    “Commitment fees” are taken to reserve space for your shipment on an available truck. Once your move is scheduled, a time slot and date are reserved for your move, and truck routes are determined. The “Commitment Fee” policy is in place to compensate for losses resulting from cancellations. Therefore, renders the payment non-refundable to compensate for lost time for other competing bookings that otherwise would have been booked for that time slot and date. Commitment fees may be used or applied as payment rendered on a future move as long as the move is picked up within (12) months of the initial payment date, and are still a move that is arranged by Central Texas Movers; as it is noted on the Liability Waiver you have signed during your booking process. Commitment Fees are always taken as payment rendered towards your total balance for said moving services.
  • Are there any hidden fees?
    Excluding corresponding tariffs, noted in the liability waiver signed during the booking process. There are no hidden fees while booking with Central Texas Movers. Tariffs include but are not limited to, additional items otherwise not mentioned on the original estimate invoice; oversized household items that are individually priced by weight (ex. Safes, pianos, executive desks, hutches, and other items weighing more than 300lbs) staircases; steep driveways and other obstacles that would hinder or prohibit CTM workers from safely and efficiently loading or unloading your belongings in or out of your vehicle, our box trucks and/or your residence(s).
  • How do I contact customer support?
    To contact customer support, email help@centraltexasmovers.net, Headline all concerns or questions with the titles “Customer Support” or “Issue Resolution” and one of our representatives will reach out to you as soon as they can to accommodate you. If your concerns need immediate attention, please do not hesitate to call us at (254) 654-4218.
  • What should I expect from Central Texas Movers during the booking process?
    Once you have made a reservation for an estimate to be held at your beginning residence, also known as the pick-up or loading property, a representative of CTM will be dispatched to arrive at the time scheduled at the pick-up property to walk through your home and take notes of items being moved by CTM and items being moved personally or being placed into donation centers and/or being dumped. The representative will contact you via phone when en route to your location to verify your address, introduce themselves, and provide an ETA to your location. Once there, the representative will once again introduce themselves, say that they work for Central Texas Movers, and be in a company shirt. (If someone shows up to your home without a CTM uniform on please be advised that this person DOES NOT work for Central Texas Movers and contact the proper authorities immediately.) Once the walkthrough is completed the representative will give you an estimate based on the information you have provided to them. They will go over all paperwork, and contracts, as well as answer any questions or concerns you may have. Be sure to mention ALL items being moved as well as any obstacles that would otherwise hinder CTM workers, as our company policy is to give a flat rate fee and minimize any additional charges or miscommunications between you and our staff. The representative will also ask for a Commitment Fee in order to lock in your preferred date/time of services. You do not need to pay that fee that day, you may take all the time you need to decide whether or not you would like to book with us or if you would like to keep searching. But, without payment of the commitment fee, Central Texas Movers cannot reserve any time or date for you. Therefore, in order to ensure that your preferred date and time are available to you, the commitment fee needs to be paid at your earliest convenience. Central Texas Movers saves all estimates and quoted prices to ensure an easier transition to the schedule. When calling to pay your commitment fee, please state your full name and the date on which you had your estimate done, and your preferred moving date.
  • What are your business hours?
    Our office is open Monday through Friday 8 am to 10 pm and Saturdays 8 am to 8 pm *Holiday hours may vary
  • How do I cancel my move?
    If you require cancellation of your move, We ask that you give us at least twenty-four (24) hour notice. You may do so by directing your cancellation request via one of the following methods: By Phone: (254) 654-4218. By E-Mail: customerservice@centraltexasmovers.net
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
